Just landing at my parents house in Maine and seeing the ocean. Gets me everytime! Mahjong games with good friends! And always an annual X-mas party!
Oh second the lake! Such a breath of fresh air.
The lake. Whether it's boating in summer, ice skating in winter or a picnic on shore, the lake never fails to be the gathering place where people can relax, decompress, and enjoy.
I tend to have a good time almost everywhere. I do love getting together with friends. There are specific groups for friends that I don't get to see very often. When I do it's 100% fun, always. I could be excited for potential get together for a solid 6 months. But my happy place is my hot tub. I don't know that I would classify it as fun more as happy.
We host a holiday party with our very close friends. I hope we never lose this tradition because it is guaranteed, hands-down, the best time every time - even if there is red wine spilled on my winter white table runner.
