Fall’s my favorite time of year — sweater weather, football and back-to-normal. But for many of us, “normal” is changing, and the changes are big. What are you transitioning into or out of this Fall? If an empty nest is part of your answer, our Empty Nesters Room is a great place to keep the conversation going.

  1. I am looking forward to the changing leaves, changing outlook, and transitions. I live in a new town, am looking for a new job (at this age – seems impossible), and building a new community to surround myself in. I’m looking forward to new experiences in all areas.

  2. This Fall, I’m transitioning into a new year of school of three kids – we’re trying to be more hands off with the sophomore in college; we’re trying to balance being hands off with staying as informed as possible about college applications with the senior in high school; we’re trying very hard to keep the stress levels down with the junior in high school. Also lots of transition with launching a new business and a husband who is traveling a lot more for work. Thank god for football!
